take 2: I chose my dogs because they look similar and very cute. Often I can't tell who is who by their tail ends so I call one or both their names when I take them out in the afternoon to call them back.

I spent a good chunk of my free time this weekend hanging out with friends, and they wanted to watch the lion dance show at the Mira Mesa Tet Festival. Trying to take photos in the dark and the fast movement of myself trying to get a clear line of sight and the performers, I learned a lot about changing shutter speeds to better match what I was capturing on the camera. I also learned a lot about how deceptive shooting performers stages in an otherwise dark area can be when adjusting the exposure triangle.
